This wonderful children's sweater was lovingly saved and stored along with a few other treasured children's sweaters (see last pic) from the 1950s and 1960s; these vintage clothes were salvaged from an old farmhouse slated for demolition, along with many other vintage goodies. Vintage Kid's Cardigan Sweater Davy Crockett Cowboy Indian Western 1950s 1960s
Light blue knitted sweater with red, white, and navy blue graphic design on front
Picture graphic shows Davy Crockett with gun, and dancing indian with horned headdress and hatchet
No garment tags present, yarn appears to be soft acrylic
Circa 1950s-1960s
Chest measures 14.5" across, pit to pit (29" chest is boy's size Large or 10/12, age 9-11, according to some sizing charts)
Sleeve measures 15" long, pit to cuff edge
Rise from bottom back edge to bottom of collar is 17" high
Sweater weighs 6 ozs.
Very good vintage condition with evidence of wear and washing. Missing bottom button. No garment tags present. One small hole on lower center back, with a small rust stain just to the right of the hole. No other damage or issues. Color is still vibrant, though appears a bit washed out in pics.
