REALIST VIOLIN PICKUP with 1/4 JACK
A primary design goal was to create a transducer that would work equally well for pizzicato and arco through commonly used amplifiers, without requiring a pre-amp or other active, battery powered gear. A flexible element fits under the bridge foot so that it picks up sound from both the bridge and top plate. Produces a rich and powerful response that is acoustically true for both pizzicato and arco without adjusting controls. No pre-amp necessary. Easy installation. Just plug it in.
Very transparent sound, color, and texture with unmatched dynamic response both arco and pizzicato. The Realist sounds more like the instrument it’s amplifying than any other pickup on the market. No need to re-attenuate amp settings between arco and pizz. Simple installation you can do in your own home, however Atlantic Strings is very happy to install the pick up for free. No change to the instrument required.
Transducer for violin, black-wrapped copper element, 1/4″ clamp-on jack.
Recommended for players who use wireless systems. Standard input makes it easier to find patch cables.
