Proper monitoring and control of moisture reduce the risks of spoilage, moisture shrinkage, and excess drying costs. To ensure grains are of the highest quality, the Delmhorst G-7 Grain Moisture Meter is the perfect device for moisture testing. It has a moisture range of 9%-30% MC, depending on the grain. It has built-in calibration for barley, coffee, corn, flax, hay, oats, pasta, rapeseed, rough rice, rye, sorghum, soybeans, and wheat.
    The Delmhorst G-7 Grain Moisture Meter stores up to 150 accumulated readings in user-defined batches by grain and displays the average and highest readings, and standard deviation and coefficient of variance of stored readings. It also comes with a built-in temperature correction over the range of 32 - 160° F (0 - 70° C). It allows for more uniform sampling with its integral double-disc electrode cup that can hold 3-4 grams, providing accurate and repeated readings. Optional accessories to check moisture in bulk material are also available. A user programmable offset is also included to make a correction to the calibration of the meter and match the readings of the commercial grain elevator.
    With an audible, adjustable alarm the Delmhorst G-7 Grain Moisture Meter alerts the user when a pre-selected moisture content has been reached. It is also compatible with Delmhorst moisture electrodes. Its built-in calibration check keeps the instrument consistently accurate.
